What It Means to Be a Westy’s Winner
At Westy’s, we love to win. And yes, we cheer loudly for victories on the athletic field, especially those hard-earned wins by the O’Neill Raiders and the Black Knights. But for us, winning means more than just the final score.
Winning is about showing up. It’s about stepping up when it matters—for your friends, your family, your community. It’s about leaning in when someone needs help, raising your hand when others step back, and choosing to make something better than you found it.
That’s what the Westy’s Winners are all about.
When we first dreamed of opening Westy’s, we knew we couldn’t do it alone. Sure, we needed funds to get off the ground—but what we wanted most was for this place to belong to everyone. We didn’t want to just open a bar; we wanted to create a space where people felt pride, ownership, and connection. A place where you walk in and say, “This is mine too.”
So we started the Westy’s Winners program—part crowdfunding, part community-building, and all heart. And the people who stepped up? They’re not just backers. They’re neighbors, friends, cadet parents, West Point grads, classmates, and proud members of the Highland Falls community.
They believed in our vision. They believed in building something together, a place where all are welcome, where everyone gets along, where we leave egos and attitudes at the door, and where we celebrate the good stuff: connection, music, laughter, food and yes—great drinks.
To our current Westy’s Winners: thank you. You helped us build this home, and we hope you feel that every time you walk through our doors. Your name may be on the wall, but your spirit is in everything we do.
